Hostels - how do they work? - independent hostels scotland
They are all cheap to a single large or there are more independent? There are of course the IYHF, but more than 4,000 houses, while hostels.com has 20,000 + ... But even then, I have not found, Youth hostels. Is it possible for all to see? Confused.
The members we should be different for them? ISIC is sufficient or it must be a kind of membership? If a member benefit, not a student or a young man? But only recently begun to raise this issue and I can not say that the head of the snake.

Most hotels are independent, but there are several organizations like the groups IYHF hostel. No way to see, it all depends on how they sell advertising / himself. I usually an Internet search for accommodation in the town + / domain and the first results pages.
Some hostels have to pay membership requirements, but this usually means only a small extra charge € / £ / something of the night. You will receive a card stamped, and if the card is full no longer afford, including the fees. Alternatively, you can pay in advance if the string is used regularly, and the night is usually slightly reduced.
A string as IYHF not much, except that all member countries inns meet certain standards. This is not necessarily bad independent hostels I stayed in many members who were very clean with excellent service.
As a student or young person has the advantage that comes to mind, stock prices, in my experience do not differ for the protection of any age or state.
Let's look at some hotels, it's really not much difference except the price (and sometimes) also rules. Some hotel chains franchise, some independent, you have only a discount if you are a chain. If you are a great hotel site online, you will see many results, but not all are offered in a city.
There are many independent hostels IYHF and most do not require membership. HI membership if I went out in Europe for a month and used it twice. Hostels.com I book all of my cheap and it worked perfectly for me. If you book in advance, or if you are looking for addresses or phone numbers of accommodation before departure, I think the site is the best option. You can create a fairly accurate list of hostels in many different price ranges, will meet their needs. If you are a student, you can usually also a map of international students in the school, you can get discounts on some (rare) for accommodation and some museums, attractions, etc. I hope this helped a little, and enjoy your trip to Europe. You will love it.
